Many articles summarizing the recently released planetary Decadal Survey have been appearing in the press. I found the following three articles to be among the best:
Scientists tell NASA to focus on smaller science probes at Spaceflight Now - While the title doesn't quite catch what the survey would like NASA to do, it does provide a good summary of the the budget pressures facing the planetary program
A sobering planetary exploration plan at Space Politics hits some of the highlights of the previous article but with a bit more focus on the political side
Difficult decision ahead on Mars on the BBC site discussions some of the issues of trying to redesign the 2018 joint ESA-NASA twin rover mission to fit within a reduced budget
