I listened in through their app on my iPhone.

Aaron - NASA is studying options for a mission to Uranus or Neptune to be reviewed by the next Decadal Survey. Good launch dates seem to be around 2030, so expect an arrival of any mission around 2040. Sometimes, it sucks how big the solar system is and how long it takes to get a mission through the approval and into the funding pipeline.Van Kanehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14227978868817989527noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-270899075443508100.post-59615309004672300022016-08-31T21:14:57.910-07:002016-08-31T21:14:57.910-07:00Do you know of any missions (even in the planning ...Do you know of any missions (even in the planning stages) that would explore Neptune or Uranus? It seems like these planets have been largely ignored since Voyager 2. I would really love to see a mission to one of those outer planets. Of course it would not be ready for this next New Frontiers selection round but I hope someone is out there planning those missions for the future.
